This website is operated and maintained by the Fall of Empires team. Use of this website and the services provided via it are conditional upon you accepting the following Terms and Conditions. Unless otherwise specified, your acceptance shall be indicated by your use of this website. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you must not use this website.
Fall of Empires
In these Terms and Conditions 'Fall of Empires' refers to both the main Fall of Empires game, and the coinciding forums. Both areas of the game involve the same fundamentals, and these Terms and Conditions apply equally to both of them.
Fall of Empires Account
To play Fall of Empires or use many features of this website, we require you to create an account, and choose a username and password. All valid account holders are hereby licensed to play Fall of Empires and connect to our servers for the sole purpose of playing Fall of Empires, subject to their compliance with these terms and conditions.
You must not choose a Username that infringes the rights of any third party, impersonates Fall of Empires staff or other users, or which is deliberately confusing or which is offensive, racist, obscene or otherwise unlawful. We reserve the right to change any Username for any reason.
You agree to keep your Password safe at all times and not to disclose it to any other person. You must ensure that your computer is kept free of viruses and Trojans to ensure the safety of your password. Real Fall of Empires staff will never ask you for your current password.
You may not create more than one Fall of Empires account; if you are caught doing so action will be taken.
You agree that your Fall of Empires account remains the property of Fall of Empires. You may not sell, transfer or lend your account to anyone else, or permit anyone else to use your account without prior permission from the game admins, and you may not accept an account which anybody else offers you.
We reserve the right to delete all your accounts, block your access to our website and services, and/or take further legal action if you violate any of these terms and conditions. We may delete or modify any account at any time for any reason.
Chat facility
When using the chat facility you must not use any language which may be considered by others to be offensive, racist or obscene, or otherwise infringes the rights of third parties. You must not use the chat facility to harass, threaten, scam or deceive other players. You agree that the chat facility is only for general role-playing relating to the game and morally/legally acceptable discussion and is not designed or intended to be used as a forum for other types of discussion, specifically illegal activities. You must not use the chat facility to advertise other websites or products. You are also forbidden to
advertise your account, or alliance in the chat facility.
You agree that for the purpose of preventing offenses and future legal problems, we reserve the right to record or monitor the chat to help us identify offenders. Sexually harassing, threatening, stalking or otherwise harassing others may result in legal action being taken against you.
If there is a particular user(s) causing a problem then please notify one of the owners or operators on the IRC channel and action may be taken. If you continue to suffer problems, or are not satisfied then you will be required to cease use of the chat and/or game and/or website.
All the above rules apply to the in-game messaging facility also.
Cheating
Your use of Fall of Empires is also subject to our Rules of Conduct. You must not infringe these rules.
You must not exploit any cheats or errors which you find in Fall of Empires. Any cheats or errors which you discover must be reported immediately to us.
You must not attempt to use other programs in conjunction with Fall of Empires to give yourself an unfair advantage. You may not use any bots or macros to control your account for you. You agree not to distribute such programs to other Fall of Empires players. When you are not playing you must logout.
You must not misuse any of our customer service facilities. You must not deliberately enter false information into any of the forms on our website, or in Fall of Empires. You must not encourage, or attempt to trick other players into breaking our rules.
Provision of service
You must not reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the Fall of Empires game in any way viewed harmful. You must not use a modified/customised version of the Fall of Empires game. You must not create or provide any other means by which Fall of Empires may be played by others (including, without limitation, replacement or modified client/server software, server emulators).
Submission of content
Occasionally we may accept ideas and game additions that are submitted by users. You agree that by submitting material for inclusion in Fall of Empires you are giving us a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and/or modify the submitted materials as we see fit. You agree that you will not withdraw the submission or attempt to make a charge for its use. Furthermore you warrant that you are the exclusive copyright holder of the submission, and that the submission in no way violates any other person or entity's rights
Subscription
Some contents and/or services on this website and/or game may become subscription-based in future circumstances. If you elect to purchase subscription-based content/services and transmit to us a subscription purchase request, you warrant that all the information that you submit is true and accurate (including without limitation your credit card number and expiration date, and other payment details), and you agree to pay all subscription fees you incur including all applicable taxes.
Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel your Subscription at any time with immediate effect if you breach any of these terms and conditions or our Rules of Conduct.
You may cancel your Subscription to any fee-based content and/or services by contacting Customer Support on the Fall of Empires IRC channel.
Upon cancellation you will not be charged any further subscription fees, and you will not be refunded any subscription fees already paid, except that we reserve the right to charge you for any unauthorised use of your Subscription by third parties.
Privacy Policy

Availability
We will make reasonable commercial efforts to ensure that this web site is available 24 hours per day without any interruptions. However, we reserve the right to make this web site unavailable at any time or to restrict access to parts or this entire website without notice.

Fair Play Rules
1. Accounts that directly benifit from accounts banned or suspeneded for cheating may have stats reduced.
-for example, if you recieve a sell off from an account that was given because the account holder found out that we were going to ban them we may deduct the value of the sell from the value of your account.
2. Creating accounts purly for slave farming/gold farming to give an end of age boost is considered an unfair practive, such accounts may be banned after being given a warning or randomly sold off without warning by the admins in this case everyone has a fair chance to benifit from the account.
3. Your account is your account, anyone found to be logging into other peoples accounts to gain an unfair advantage may find weapons deleted, sold off, or their account suspended without warning. If you share an IP Address with a player, you are encouraged not to engage in attack with them as this may be misconstrewed as mal-practice by the admins.
4. Any practice that an admin deems to be unfair can be punished for, after giving fair notice to cease the practice and having that notice ignored.
Privacy Policy
Ip's
FallOfEmpires collects users Ip's for company use only. We do not distribute Ip's to any third party's for any reason whatsoever.
Adverts
FallofEmpires contains third party ads, this means they may collect personal information about your browsing on the site. If you are concerned, please visit their Privacy Policy.
Other Third Party Information
FallofEmpires DO NOT distribute any of your personal information. This includes your email address, or password information.
Passwords
FallofEmpires store your passwords with encryption, this means they cannot be retrieved from the database by any administrator, you can change your password at any time, but, it cannot be retrieved from the database in its original form at any time.
Email
Fallofempires collects your email when you register, and this will be stored for an indeterminate period. If when you cancel your subscription you wish your email or other personal information to be removed from our database you must inform an admin. From time to time FallofEmpires
may wish to contact you regarding our services or any services of Imhotek.net directly related to FallofEmpires, by providing us with your email address you agree to recieve these emails.
